We reviewed for Monday's test today. Then we watched the first of half of "Supersize Me". Remember to begin keeping track of what you eat for the next seven days (Saturday to Friday). Also, remember you have a cells and microscope test on Monday......study!

Today students finished presenting their cell analogies. Then we went through the Macromolecules note. We watched 2 videos on Teachertube on macromolecules and carbohydrates. Tomorrow we will continue with this note. Remember, you have a test on Monday!

Today we completed the Cell as a City Analogy activity. Students then paired up and created their own analogy. We began reviewing for the cells and microscope test which is on Monday.

Students completed the observing cells lab today. There are 3 questions to answer under the analysis section (r, s, and z). Once the lab report was completed, students began working on the cell as a city analogy activity. This will continue tomorrow. Be sure to print off the macromolecules note at the left.

Today we continued looking at our cheek cell slides and started viewing plant cells. Students learned how to measure diameter of field of view, estimate fit number and estimate the size of a single cell.
