On Friday, we began the new unit called Animal Anatomy and Physiology. Students completed a short diagnostic quiz called "I Did Not Know That" and then a note on the organization of cells, tissues, organs and organ systems was created and copied.

On Thursday, students wrote their Protist and Fungi test. Absent students will write this test on their first day back in class. Be prepared.

On Wednesday, students completed the "Anatomy of a Mushroom" lab.

Today we viewed an excellent site that showed many of the important details about protists and fungi. This site can be opened from yesterday's post on this blog. Remember, your protist and fungi test is on Thursday. We also discussed a short note on Microorganisms and Biotechnology. This information will be on Thursday's test.

Today we reviewed protists and fungi....applications to health, ecology and biotechnology, and then we viewed photos of common protists and fungi. You'll need to know these applications and be able to identify protists and fungi on Thursday's test. Check out this website when studying for that test....
