Today was a the final research class for the microbiology project. The project will be due in about 2 weeks, at the end of the microbiology unit.
On Thursday, we went through the cellular biology test that was written last week. We also discussed how to study for these types of tests in order to be more successful. We have set the goal of no failures on the next test, which will be held next week. Students then viewed the rest of film called "The Hidden World".

Today we continued talking about bacteria. We drew an E. coli bacterium and discussed it's structures. Then we looked at how bacteria in Kingdom Eubacteria are classified by shape. We passed around some electron micrographs of the 3 main shapes of eubacteria. We then watched 20 minutes of the film "The Hidden World". This film will be finished in class tomorrow.
