Today students completed a digestive system disorders "match-up" activity. These disorders will be on Monday's test. We then created a note about the Human Circulatory System. Tomorrow, we will review for the first anatomy and physiology test and we will continue looking at the heart.

Today students created a note on Crohn's disease using page 189 of their textbook. They then began to colour and label a diagram of the human heart. This will continue tomorrow. A test date for the first anatomy and physiology test was set for Monday Dec. 8th.

Today we discussed the summary table on the digestive organs, their features and their roles in ingestion, digestion, absorption, and egestion. We then collaborated on creating a new table that showed how and where carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids are digested, including the names of the enzymes involved. A review package on the digestive system was also handed out.
