Today, the protist and fungi test was handed back. Students also worked on completing the summary table on the digestive organs. We then watched a Body Atlas episode on digestion. DD was sporting a lovely Blue Jays fanny pack. Watch the skies on Sunday night!

On Thursday, we began the digestive system. Students copied a short note about an overview of digestion. They then began completing a summary chart about the functions of the organs of the digestive system.

Today, we finished the note on the nervous system and then discussed the endocrine system. There are 3 questions to be done for homework.

On Tuesday, we began the new unit with a note on the nervous system.

Today, students read certain sections of the new unit in the textbook and prepared 10 card with statements about structures and functions. Tomorrow, those cards will be used in a sorting activity. Be sure to print off the Homeostasis note for tomorrow's class.
