On Friday, Mr. V. helped out by completing the virus note with the class. Then students filled out a summary table on viral anatomy and physiology, as well as their impacts on human health and the environment. Then, the class was given a homework assignment: a comparison of the flu vs. the common cold. These questions are to be handed in on Monday. Monday will be a research class.
On Thursday, students began learning about viruses. A note was copied and sample electron micrographs were viewed. Bacteriophages were discussed as well as the lysogenic cycle.
